As we close out 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude—for you, our faithful friends and supporters, who have stood beside us in prayer, encouragement, and giving.
This December, Robert & Gloria Cooper will return to East Africa (December 17–January 10) to bring hope, love, and the light of Christ to the children at Heart 2 Heart Nursery & Primary School in Rushaga Village, Uganda.
Their mission: to share the Gospel, strengthen local partnerships, and improve living conditions for the children through vital facility upgrades.
This year, your year-end gift can help send Bob & Gloria and sustain the children they serve—turning generosity into lives transformed by God’s love.

Help Send the Mission Team
The Coopers are praying for $6,500 in support for the upcoming mission trip—funds needed for:
Bottled drinking water and food for the team and children
Vehicle rental and fuel for travel between villages
Kitchen upgrades to safely prepare meals for 50 children
Supplies for Vacation Bible School and Christmas outreach

Kitchen Needs

Urgent Kitchen Upgrades Needed—Uganda
At Heart 2 Heart School, Richard, our cook, prepares daily meals with love and determination, even in difficult conditions. But the kitchen is in desperate need of repairs and organization.
We need to raise the stone foundation, install shelving for food and dishes, and create proper storage for books and children’s supplies. Your generosity can help us give these children the safe, clean meal space they deserve—a gift that nourishes both body and soul.
New Project Spotlight: Jungle Java
In September 2025, we celebrated the opening of Jungle Java—a small coffee shop in Rushaga Village!
This community-driven project aims to:
Promote coffee growing and replanting in the region
Create fair wages and a stable market for local farmers
Empower women through employment and training
Protect the surrounding forest—home to the endangered mountain gorillas

More Than Just Coffee
Jungle Java is more than a coffee shop—it’s a ministry of empowerment. By teaching families to cultivate coffee sustainably and earn fair pay, we are helping reduce deforestation while building a future of dignity and opportunity for the people of Rushaga.
The planting of coffee trees and rehabilitation of the already existing trees in the area provide a ready market and fare wages for all the growers, the long term is to contribute to the economic empowerment of the people most especially women in this remote village.
We intend to educate the people here to love and grow coffee for their economic growth, and we will pay them well; this will finally create an alternative source of income and reduce pressure on the forest, which is also home to mountain gorillas.

Together, this team shows that love in action transforms lives every day. We are looking to add a nurse and music teacher soon. You can support our staff with prayer and your generous donations.
We are seeking corporate sponsors and a grant writer to help fund the renovation of the school. The current building is deteriorating, with rain seeping through the iron-sheet roofs into the classrooms. Your support would make a lasting difference in providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for the children.
