Heart 2 Heart Hand N Hand International exists to bring hope, stability, and opportunity to children and families living in extreme poverty in Africa.
Through education support, food assistance, medical aid, and sustainable community projects, we work to empower children so they can build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Our Story
Heart 2 Heart Hand N Hand International was founded by Bob and Gloria Cooper after witnessing firsthand the struggles many children face in underserved communities.
What began as a desire to help a few children has grown into a mission to support entire communities through compassion, faith, and practical support.
Seeing the need for consistent food, education, and healthcare, Bob and Gloria committed themselves to building relationships with local leaders and schools to ensure that help reaches the children who need it most.
Today, the organization continues to partner with people both locally and internationally to bring meaningful change to the lives of children and families.
What We Do

Access to reliable food is one of the biggest challenges facing many of the children we serve. Through Heart 2 Heart Hand N Hand International, donations help provide regular meals for students and families who might otherwise go without. Proper nutrition allows children to focus in school, grow stronger, and live healthier lives. By helping provide consistent food support, we are investing in the well-being and future of an entire community.

Education is one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty. We help children attend school by providing essential resources such as school supplies, tuition assistance, uniforms, and learning materials. Many families in these communities cannot afford even the basic costs of education. With support from donors, children are able to stay in school, gain knowledge and skills, and pursue opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.

Access to basic healthcare can make a life-changing difference for children. Support helps provide essential medical care, in house nurses, hygiene supplies, and medicines when they are needed, helping children stay healthy and reducing the risks of preventable illness. Basic medical care can be difficult to access in many rural communities. We support a full time nurse at the Heart 2 Heart School Medical Clinic. Donations help provide funds for medicine, doctor visits, and treatment for common illnesses and injuries. By helping cover these critical needs, we ensure that children and families receive care when they need it most. Healthy children are better able to attend school, participate in their communities, and build brighter futures.

In addition to immediate support, we work to help communities become more self-sufficient. This includes initiatives such as agricultural projects, farming supplies, seeds, livestock such as rabbits and pigs, and land development. These efforts help families grow their own food, create small sources of income, and build long-term stability. Sustainable projects allow communities to move toward independence while strengthening their ability to care for future generations.
